What is OptionForm?

OptionForm is an online platform that provides a way to collect data for Optioneering, also known as a feasibility study.
One of OptionForm's goals is to remove the intricate and somewhat cumbersome controls that other data processing software packages have, and automate report generation.

What can OptionForm Do?

OptionForm allows for the dynamic creation of Optioneering document templates, to be filled in by users, and analysed for clear results instantly.
OptionForm offers an intuitive interface with a robust and flexible solution, backed by 20+ years of AuditForm functionality.
PDF reports can be generated and edited on the fly, by manipulating the data filled in by users. All calculations are done in real time, which allows for the validity of the result to be tested with all users present during the Optioneering session.

What is Optioneering?

Optioneering, also known as a feasibility study, is a decision making process used to explore and compare a variety of different options in order to select the best possible solution to a problem.
Put simply, multiple viable options are created and then systematically evaluated before committing to one.

• Option generation: Users create different ways of achieving an objective
• Criteria definition: Users create a list of criteria each option will be judged against. This could be cost, risk, complexity, time etc
• Evaluation: Analysing each option against the chosen criteria, and scoring said options
• Comparison: Weighting tradeoffs between each option
• Selection: Choosing the most suitable option based on the data inputted

Why is Optioneering Important?

This reduces overall risks, has a highly transparent decision-making process, and demonstrates considerations for alternatives.

What do the reports look like?

Optioneering data inputted by users is collected into a table, where each option has the inputted scoring per criteria, followed by a table showing the percentage assigned to each criteria.
Following this, the calculated scoring is printed with the ranking and indicated colour. Ranking goes from highest rank to lowest, with the highest rank being highlighted in green.
